These terms apply to the UnplugFirst app for iPhone and Android. By using the app, you accept them.
What the app does, and what it doesn't
UnplugFirst is a reminder. While it is open in night mode, with the screen on and the phone plugged in, it warns you if you pick the phone up.
- It does not warn if the app is closed, the phone is locked or you switch apps.
- It does not prevent falls or damage to the phone, the cable, the plug or the port.
- It may not warn every time, or may warn when it shouldn't: it reads the phone's motion, not the cable.
Use it as a help, not as a guarantee. D4U is not responsible for damage to your phone, cable, charger or anything else.
The free app and the full version
The app is free to download and use. The full version is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play that adds sound, the flashing screen, the flashlight and two night screens (Pixel clock and Pixel night).
- The price is the one shown in the store at the time of purchase.
- The store handles the payment, receipts and refunds under its own terms.
- The full version is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, and you can restore it on your phones.
License
D4U gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on the phones linked to your store account. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app.
Changes and availability
D4U may update the app, change what it does or stop offering it. If the terms change, this page is updated and the date above changes.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States.
